Quick update!

I don't know why I feel like I have to update this. I know no one is reading it. The only page views I have are from me, (before changing my settings) and some site tracker stuff. But for some reason I feel compelled to make this a priority. Almost like a journal for myself -- at least for now hopefully.

Anyway onto the "news". I decided to take a step forward and purchase a domain and some bsh. Im going to be using a more powerful blogging tool/cms wordpress. I do plan to create a custom layout/design for it in the future but for now im just going to edit the basic template into something I like. Clean and neat. Im currently having some trouble with my DNS propagation. But hopefully it will all be sorted by the morning. I simply just don't understand after all these years it can still take up to 72 hours to fully propagate. *sigh*

On another note, I was trying to draw some stuff up for my next project today, and I simply couldn't think of how I wanted to do it. I have ideas floating in my head but simply no direction on how I want to go about it. So I decided to jump on a different project I have been wanting to do for ages but have been delaying it. I feel like I give out simply to much information on what exactly im doing. So this time im just going to update you as I go.

I hope you enjoy model trains! Bahahaha -- yeah I took a completely different turn. This wont be a full on display. As badly as Id like to do one. I simply dont have the space, time, nor money to pursue it. That being said I remember when I was a kid I went to my local hobby shop and I saw this cool display they had. It was someone cut a section out of someones display and put it in a glass case. I always thought it was neat. Because I don't have to invest a shit ton of money into it and I can style/design it how ever Id like! Sadly my display wont be a working one. It will have a small section of track and a train with a few cars on it. But I do plan to make it so that I can make it connect to other parts. If I chose to later turn it into a full layout.

Now there are two types of model trains I enjoy. In my personal opinion HO, and N scale are simply superior. The reason I say this you get the maximum amount of space for the highest amount of detail. I think HO is more preferred but if I plan to create a full layout someday it will simply have to be in N scale (due to my lack of space).

The display Im working on will have a set size of 20" x 15"  using 2" base wood that is beveled.

Okay well that's it for tonight tomorrow I will be working on getting the website setup and designed the way I like temporarily - Hopefully in time I can gain some viewers who share the same passions as myself. Okay okay.. project time!

So this whole week i've been in debate on what project I wanted to jump onto next. I've had this idea of a custom computer speaker box for awhile. Creating a unique desktop piece that conceals the speaker and has some cool visual properties. The styling would run along the lines of  Shadow of the colossus. This is something i've been wanting to create for along long time.

These are some concepts of ideas I was thinking of using. I didn't want to create something that completely ripped off SoC I wanted to create something in my own image using this type of styling. 

 But atfer seeing someone else create something similar I kinda gave up on the idea. I was still planning on going thru something similar tho I still wanted to create something physical. So I started thinking.. I want something that is living and organic. I wanted to create something that was interesting to look at yet have it be physically touchable.

I've had this odd fascination with Bonsai trees. They are clean, they are constantly changing, and they require some effort/Maintaining. So Im planning on doing something using that. But its not going to be a bonsai tree. Im thinking some kind of grass. I wish I could easily explain what is going on in my head. But simply put I still dont know exactly myself. Im going to start drawing up ideas.

Reiteration

So at work today I thought to myself what exactly im doing. I was thinking about this blog and the 0 people who come here. Did I create the blog on the proper site? Should have I started a blog elsewhere? Maybe perhaps get my own domain and host a CMS and make a blogish type site the way Id like it. Do I want people to come to my site? Do I want to monetize the blog in the future? Is it worth it?

To all thos questions I ask myself. I didn't create this blog for any other intention then to possibly motivate myself to do something great. In my eyes anyway. I was thinking about a phrase today "Don't start something you can't finish". I really wish my parents were strong enforcers of this. I think they tried a few times but gave up. There is something about that phrase I really wish It was easy for me to adopt. Its something I respect to an extent. But I also kind of enjoy how I am. I think I really enjoy the fact that I have such a huge array of different hobbies.

ANYWAY my whole point to this is I dont plan on giving up on this blog, as I have for many others I've started in the past. I want to try and update it at-least once a week. My blog is mainly for myself but Im hoping that maybe a few people will come across it and find it interesting and possibly helpful.

What I'M doing, and why I'M here.

First off let me start by saying Im using this "site" as a way of bringing out some of my "work". Note the quotes they are important.

I say work but clearly there is no work here. This is all just simply a way of expressing my creative ramblings. Because of this I have some problems. Which I will gladly explain.. 

1. I have to many interests to keep my mind occupied on just one project.
2. I lack discipline to ever finish these projects.
3. Most of the time I attempt something with no skill or knowledge in said subject.
4. My list of hobby's is unlimited.
5. I don't know. Its Halloween and day9 is about to play some amnesia : a machine for pigs.

So here I am, now to give you a brief description of what compelled me to create this blog. For the people who actually come across this blog I'm talking to you. Yes you. Are you reading this? Probably not. I created it mainly for my personal use. To show case all the little projects I attempt at doing. I will jump from one thing to another. But mainly use this as a way to maybe force myself to finish something. Most of the stuff I do - I attempt with no skill at all. BUT! Its stuff I deeply enjoy doing. If you need some clarity on the stuff I attempt here's a small list in no particular order, and isn't even a complete list DUN DUN DUHHHH. 

1. Web-Design.
2. Web Media/GFX Design.
3. Videos (mainly gaming related).
4. Level design.
5. Custom computer rigs (I know there's a special name for it but I forgot so HA!).
6. Game Development.
7. Modeling/Animation.
8. Model Trains /face-palm.
9. Making Bracelets (OH YEAH IM A GUY! SO HA! WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO ABOUT IT?) I find it relaxing.
10. There's more, but mainly not worth mentioning but pretty much because im lazy and my mind sucks.

So in closing join me in this adventure of randomness. Maybe there is something I do that peeks your interest and I can possibly help you figure something out about yourself, and the universe. Think of this as a portfolio - but a portfolio with absolutely no direction or a word i cant think of. Give me a break I'm tired. If you haven't noticed my major use of sarcasm I will give you a hint ^^^ is me being sarcastic. But either case I'm still being serious.. What? Ok bye.
